Dwayne Johnson Hugs His Daughters, Cherishes “Every Moment” Before “Daddy’s Arms Is The Last Place They Want To Be”

Back when Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was climbing to fame as the muscular, intense and violent wrestler on WWE, it would have been hard to picture him gently cradling his little girls. Turns out “The Rock” is actually a very hands-on and invested father and loves every minute of it. Over the years he has slowly let the world see a softer, funnier side of him. He recently posted a very sweet picture of his two little daughters, Jasmine, 3, and Tiana who is only 8-months old. He has them both clutched close to his chest, with the biggest smile on his face. The girls are dressed in red and there’s a Christmas tree behind them. There is so much warmth and holiday cheer in the picture that you can’t help but let out a happy sigh. Dwayne seems intent on making and preserving as many memories as he possibly can before his babies grow up. He implied as much in the photo’s caption, writing: “Daddy’s arms. I ain’t gonna be able to hold ‘em like this forever, so you better believe I snatch these cookies and love ‘em up every moment I can.”

He also added, “Plus, I know there’s gonna come a day where in daddy’s arms is the last place they want to be.” Dwayne also has a 17-year-old daughter, Simone, whom he shares with his ex-wife Danny Garcia. After the two split, Dwayne met long-time partner and mother to Jasmine and Tia, Lauren Hashian. “I was so fortunate to have fallen in love once,” Dwayne told People in 2012. “To fall in love again? That’s a hard thing to do twice in the position I’m in. I’m one lucky son of a bitch.” The two occasionally share pictures of them together and it’s the sweetest.

Dwayne is as hands-on as a partner as he is a father, which is probably what makes their relationship work. He is also very appreciative of the life he has and the people who make it worth living. He seems intent on making sure that they are a part of his journey and success story. In an interview with Esquire in 2015, he said: “We do these stories and we talk so much about the business end, the success end, but then Lauren isn’t mentioned and my daughter [Simone] isn’t mentioned. I always like making sure we find the balance and my home life is in there and Lauren Hashian is in there and my daughter is in there.”

Lauren and Dwayne began dating in 2007. The two welcomed their first-born, Jasmine, back in December of 2015. Earlier this year, they were blessed with another baby girl, Tia, in April. The two are simply adorable. While Tia is too little to cause too much trouble, Jasmine clearly has her dad wrapped tightly around her little finger. Dwayne has posted Instagram pictures that prove it. The little diva has bullied him into sitting still while painting his face and even his nails. Hats off to Dwayne for being Dad-of-the-year and indulging her.

His daughters are not the only ones he is intent on pleasing and pampering. Earlier this year in October, he posted a picture of him busy at work in the kitchen, with the caption: “6 pm. London, England. I was warming up in the #IronParadise to crush my leg training when I get the text from @laurenhashianofficial asking ‘Big Daddy feel like cooking dinner for his girls?’…I texted back/ Hold my beer and watch this. Took my sweatshirt off, tied it around my waist like an apron and went to work.” He served up a hot meal of ribeye steaks, BBQ ribs, and Basmati rice. Just when you thought he could not be any more perfect.

He is not the only one who has been gushing over Jasmine and Tia. Lauren too has been joining Dwayne in celebrating their adorable little girls and has been sharing a lot of pictures and videos of the two lately. In a very adorable picture, Lauren can be seen snuggling with both her daughters and truly just appreciating the moment. As delighted as Dwayne is to have his precious girls in his life, it seems like he has begun to realize how vastly outnumbered he is. At The Graham Norton Show in U.K. Dwayne joked
“I can’t make boys, but I keep trying to—that’s the fun part!”

Whenever he gets a spare moment, Dwayne loves to spend it with his daughters. Sometimes, he even finds ways to spend time with them when he isn’t totally free. A picture he shared showed him squeezing in a workout and chilling with baby Jasmine at the same time. He truly would do anything for his little girls and lives to make them smile. In the sweet Christmas picture he posted, Dwayne also wrote, “Can’t guarantee I’ll love and protect all my daughters for the rest of their lives, but I can guarantee I will for the rest of mine.” With Dwayne around, his little girls will never have anything to worry about.
